8 Tips on Keeping Health During the Haze Season
Malaysia cannot escape the haze. Every year Malaysia is hit by a severe haze season so the API can reach 200 and above (unhealthy levels). It can affect our health.
Haze can cause our activity to be postponed. For example, schools need to close until the API level is low, university classes have to be canceled, can't go out, and more. All external activities we plan to cancel.
If you need to go out to buy something, we are advised to wear an N95 face mask to prevent haze inhalation. The temperature will also rise and cause the weather to be hot and humid. So we need to take precautionary measures.

Take care of your health during the haze season
◾ Reduce physical activity which results in increased respiratory rate and body metabolism. This condition can increase the risk of hemorrhage and hot weather.
◾Always indoors and when outdoors, use appropriate face masks and face masks and umbrellas such as umbrellas and hats.
◾ Close the window to reduce the haze entering the house. Always clean the indoor environment. Avoid activities that increase air pollution such as smoking.
◾ Close the car window while driving. Use the air conditioner by selecting the rules for the mode of operation of the internal circulation.
◾ Many drink plain water even when they do not feel thirsty. This is to maintain the optimal level of hydration to regulate body temperature.
◾Take a bath to cool the body. Avoid wearing thick, tight and dark clothing to help with the heat loss process.
MampuIf you can, install high-efficiency air-conditioners and water filters (purifiers) to filter fine particles and prevent the entry of air pollution from the outside.
◾Get treatment at the nearest health facility right away if you have the following symptoms: fever, sore throat, cough, flu, colds, itching, tiredness.
