What is the best time to exercise after childbirth?

What is the best time to exercise after childbirth?

Your delivery can be a normal delivery or a cesarean section. However, after childbirth, the body begins to function to restore its former shape and body.

Exercise helps you to regain your body's changes. Exercise can reduce not only changes in body shape but also excess weight gain. Doctors have often advised women to exercise at least six weeks after childbirth. With the advances in medicine and surgery, doctors feel that it is not necessary to delay such a long exercise after childbirth. After a normal childbirth without complications, the mother can exercise at a level that she feels can be exercised. Otherwise, you can exercise two weeks after childbirth.

Exercise, warm-up, and abdominal exercises can be done without difficulty. Swimming is another similar exercise. Even after cesarean delivery, open wound stitches are neat and flexible so you don't have to worry about walking, picking up your baby or doing homework. However, after a cesarean section, it is best to walk for three weeks after exercise. This way you can gradually increase the amount and duration of the exercise. However, the time you exercise should be 45 minutes or an hour.

If your baby is having a cesarean section with complications and needs serious medical attention, it is best to only exercise based on the advice given by your doctor.
